Some thoughts on Zechariah by Stephen Clover During the time of captivity I’m sure this group of people had been pushed and prodded many times. No doubt it was good to be home. It must have been quite a surprise to have the locals contest the work they were doing. So much so all work ceased for twenty years.

When we attempt to do a great or small work for God there will always be some kind of opposition. So what can we do about it? Well first you have to ask yourself some hard questions.

Is what I want to do helpful?

This ministry I’m about to take on, does it consume me more than God ?

Does it hurt others?

Does it glorify God?

The Holy Spirit will guide and lead us into all things. It is most important we pray about what it is we would like to do.
