Crying in the Gutter
A man was sitting in the gutter crying. One of my friends went to his aid and began to speak of positive things. When the man that was crying heard this he looked up. Imagine the surprise on my friend’s face when he saw it was the devil.
He looked into his tear sodden face and asked. “Why are you crying?”
“It’s the Christians,” he replied. “They blame me for all their problems”.
It’s true isn’t it? If we look at the situation honestly often it is our own stupid fault. So how do we get out of this rut?
Seeing as most of my problems are people, let’s deal with them. Forgiveness is a wonderful experience. It is humbling and it cleans the air. This is the way I think God intended it to be? Don’t you.
Let’s practice some forgiving today.
